Resources for employees — handbook, accident reporting, and more.
Employee Handbook
Your Company
This handbook explains how we work together — safely, professionally, and with pride in every job. It applies to all employees. Customize this text in Setup for your industry.
Welcome to Your Company. We deliver quality work for our customers and protect every person on the job. Read this handbook, ask questions, and follow it every day.
This handbook is a guide. It does not create an employment contract. The company may update policies when needed. Your supervisor or HR contact will share important changes.
Represent the company well on every site, call, and conversation.
Safety is not optional. Follow site rules, PPE requirements, and stop-work authority on every job.
If there is an emergency: secure the area if safe, call emergency services, then notify your supervisor.
The company provides equal employment opportunity and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination based on protected characteristics under applicable law.
Substance abuse on the job is prohibited. You must not work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing substances.
By signing below, you confirm that you have read this Employee Handbook, understand it, and agree to follow company policies and safety procedures. If you do not understand a rule, ask before you act.

I was offered medical evaluation / treatment related to a work incident at Your Company. I understand that medical care was made available (including Concentra Urgent Care or emergency services when appropriate). I voluntarily refuse medical treatment at this time. I understand I may seek treatment later and should notify my supervisor if my condition changes.

Track which employees have read and digitally signed required policies and documents. Name, day, and date are locked when they sign.
These users can sign in and work customers in Setup (Open client, edit HR/users/files). Assign which customers each person may open. This is separate from per-customer Users and Employees inside a client.
This name stays in the header until you Open a customer in Setup. Closing that customer restores your company name.
Customers this user can Open:
| Username | Customers | Manage users |
|---|
Each customer is its own Firestore collection. Create one, save it, then Open to edit that customer’s Setup (HR, users, employees, files).
| Collection ID | Company name | Code | Status |
|---|
Fill the collection ID and company name, then save. After save, this panel closes — use Open on the customer to edit the rest.
Employees type their normal username. Their password must start with this 3-letter code (e.g. code ayz + rest → ayz1234). The app uses those first 3 letters to open the correct customer. Codes must be unique.
This information fills the Report an accident contacts card in Human Resources. Each company has its own carrier and claim details.
Staff accounts for this customer (not clock-in employees). Admin = all tabs including Setup. User = only the tabs you assign in Edit. Passwords use the same 3-letter login code as employees (auto-added if missing) so login opens this customer. Employees (section below) only see Human Resources.

Set 31 rotating messages. Pick a start date — from that day on, the app picks one message each day automatically (cycles 1→31→1). Everyone sees that day’s message after sign-in.
Uploads for this customer only. Each client has its own bank file and financial statements. Bank transactions feed Summary of Bank Transactions. Financial Statements feed the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet tab.
Same format: Date, Transaction, Name, Amount, Payee, Expense (USBANK sheet). Download can be opened again here.

Upload QuickBooks export Financial Statements.xlsx (Transaction Detail by Account, P&L, Balance Sheet). Saved in this browser and Firebase so it stays available after refresh. Use the Financial Statements tab to pick dates and generate reports.
